Salmon Oil
What Is It?
Salmon oil contains high EPA and DHA levels which is called OMEGA 3. This comes from the plankton that fish feed on. There are many benefits found in OMEGA 3. It prevents clogging. It is a great help for strokes and seizures. It reduces LDI cholesterol levels and so decreases the effects of arterosclerosis and high blood pressure. It increases HDI (good cholesterol), it thins the blood. The red blood cells exchanging power is increased and circulation to extremities is made easier.
How It Works
Brain disease, heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and kidney disease are all connected with ones blood. If the blood stream has problems this affects circulation. An interrupted blood automatically creates health problems and disease such as heart attacks, brain failures, kidney-liver-deterioration etc. Arteriosclerosis can be caused by a variety of factors such excess saturated fat and sugar and hypertension resulting in worn or inflamed artery walls but regardless of the initial cause the damage can be mitigated by a good blood flow.
Indications
-
High blood pressure
-
High cholesterol levels
Potential Problems
Since omega-3 fatty acids are blood thinners, supplements should not be taken by those on blood thinners. In this instance whole fish would be better than the oil capsules. People with asthma should not take fish oil supplements unless they do so under a doctor's supervision. While fish oil supplements may help some people who suffer from asthma, they may actually aggravate the conditions in others. Those suffering from any disease, illness or injuries should consult with a physician or health care professional before taking any supplements.
